Very basic bed and breakfast hotel - room was clean but small Didnt have breakfast so cant comment but if anyone wanted ot go to London very close to train station I used it as I was going to the Open Golf at Sandwich Kent so chose it for location and price

Nothing to dislike or even loke

    Nothing...

The room and hotel was dirty, run down and very basic. I found stains on the bedsheets, muck on the windows, blood or something on the curtains. The towels were very small and certainly cheap. The basin was so small I couldn't pour water into the kettle - which had all kinds of life in there!!! I would recommend that you try and find somewhere else, no matter how low the price you should at least expect it clean!!! A dump and a rip off

Location...in my opinion was the only positive point...

Service...price...and the fact that I had cancelled 1 room and the manager of the Hotel reaffirmed several times that he would cancel one room but nothing happened... Can you please confirm that at least one room was cancelled?? We suppose to stay with 5 people but due to the problem in the Airport of Edinburgh (Vulcan Ash) they could not arrive at this date. Please advise if possible.

    Good

The staff at the hotel were excellent and really friendly. Location was brilliant for us as we wanted a quick trip into London and the station is within a minutes walk. Breakfast was also good. Rooms were adequate and quite spacious for a family.

The rooms need a really good clean. Bedding was clean but carpets and particularly corners of bedroom and bathroom were dirty. There is no bath in the bathroom is more of a wet room though there is a communal bath down the hall. I did feel that the hotel was overpriced for the accommdation

    Fabulous

Very handy for the station. Friendly staff. Room was a good size and was quiet and comfortable. Well stocked hospitality tray.

It was absolutely fine. We had a very enjoyable wekend.

    Very good

Good location, 30mins to London, walking distance to train station and town centre. Staffs were very helpful and friendly.

Shower condition was not very good, sometimes water was very cold and unstable.

Pretty much everything, where to start: unfriendly staff, awful food, tatty decor...generally as downmarket an experience as it possibly could be

The Bed and the Duvet nice and fresh smelling.

Well.. we were in the outside bit of the hotel an outhouse of 11 rooms or so and at 3am we were woken by a trolyy being pushed passed our room..It sounded like someone on rollerskates. The room had a damp feeling and the hot water ran out when we wanted to run 2 baths as the shower head was not easy to adjust to right temperature.. We ordered breakfast when we arrived looking forward to a full english breakfast. In the morning we went to have breakfast and chose our items and I ordered fried tomatoes with my bacon, sausage and scrambled egg.. IT arrived and there was no fried tomato it was a tinned plum tomato straight from the tin. we mentioned this and they took my p[late away and it came back and i was presented with a tomato in a bowl that had been microwave at this point we said the plate should have been taken away and replated. Well my 2nd one arrived and yes you guessed it cold plum tinned tomatoe... GAve up in the end.....so not impressed with it....Not one of your good ones Booked.net..Used you before and no probs......was a bit like Fawlty towers. No plugs sockets accessible to dry hair.. remote control had lost all the numbers etc on it .

    Exceptional

The staff is truly supportive and interested in your comfort and in arranging any activity or travel that you may need. Mine included a visit to the local hospital and related support. The beds are ridiculously comfortable!!!!!!!!!!!!! We all know how a vacation or weekend is affected by the quality of the beds!!!! The facility is in a residential area, and is quiet and nice. their dining hall was always filled though I ate in my room.

Absolutely nothing to be put onto this list.

    Exceptional

The hotel is excellent.an oasis in a difficult place If you have to go to Sevenoakes ,make sure you stay at The Moorings Hotel ,The rooms are spotless, there is wi-fi throughoutthe hotel The rooms in the back are like little chalets and are very charming. The staff leave you be,unless you ask for something and if you require anything, they provide it immediately the showers and bath are more than adequate ,and although we found Sevenoakes quite unfriendly ,the staff at the hotel were wonderfully friendly ,polite ,and helpful We were working at the art gallery in town ,and were frightened to book because of the previous negative reviews the hotel had received, but NONE are true We could not fault the place and we are well-travelled people !

It is a rather shabby establishment and needs a jolly good make over. The carpet in my room was stained and the shower had mould around the seal. Breakfast is not cooked to order, apart from the eggs. Outside, uneven paving and steps make it trecherous for those who may be unsteady on their feet. The garden area consists of a lawn and a picnic table, not very inviting. I stayed on a very hot night and the room had no air con or fan.
